Ah! Well I Remember!
The UNC Alma Mater, "Ah! Well I Remember" is more than just a piece of music to the 185 members of the "Pride of the Rockies" Marching Band. As the band plays this piece before each home football event, the members of the "Pride of the Rockies," past and present, are brought together to remember the friendships and relationships forged each year on the belief that "time shall never shall sever friends of Purple and Gold."

You do not need to be a music major to be a member of the band, and there is no audition required to get in. It's not just hard work; we have a lot of fun and it's a great opportunity to stay active in musical performance.

The UNC color guard is an auxiliary unit of the Pride of the Rockies Marching Band. We have enjoyed years of twirling excellence! The color guard performs at all home football games, some school functions and other exhibition performances.
